What Is Brain Health?
The World Health Organisation (WHO) definition of Brain Health is Brain health is the state of brain functioning across cognitive, sensory, social-emotional, behavioural and motor domains, allowing a person to realize their full potential over the life course, irrespective of the presence or absence of disorders.
WHO Global Action Plan for Neurological Disorders and Epilepsy
Throughout Brain Awareness Week 2023, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland will be promoting awareness of the WHO Ten Year Global Action Plan for Neurological Disorders & Epilepsy which calls for a priority focus on brain health among the governments of WHO member states like Ireland.
